My name is Pascale Roura and I am a Yoga Instructor for children aged 2/3 to 12 years old. I am a Mother: my wonderful son is 11 years old. I have been working with young children and adolescents since 2018 - in nurseries, primary schools, special needs schools, and currently in a selective secondary school for girls. I have supported pupils who have additional needs (autism, ADHD, dyslexia, anxiety) in the classroom and outside of the classroom (tutoring via the virtual school and in-house settings/libraries) to support school transitions.

I believe in holistic therapies for children, alongside their education is essential for their growth, balance and inner joy.  My yoga sessions have been described as "calming, fun and inclusive with a touch of magic"!

What difference did I make in 2024?
- I nurtured social connections with my local community.
- I empowered families, and provided a welcoming space for children and their families (through my family yoga sessions).
- I continued to work with local charities in South London (Mitcham, Streatham, South Croydon and Brixton).
- I put a strong emphasis on normalising space in yoga/wellbeing field for families whose children have additional needs or mental health challenges.
- I reconnected with a charity I used to work with 15 years ago, and hopefully we will be able to provide great support to young people in the near future.
